Since the release of the YouTube video site, Flash video files have become extremely popular. The reasons are numerous. Flash videos are smaller in size, yet they have a good quality. There are dozens of programs that can convert regular video files into SWF files, for uploading to websites or playing them offline. The problem is finding the right player for viewing these files. A software that can play Flash videos, but doesn't limit to this, is Flash Player Pro.

The installation of Flash Player Pro is a piece of cake and can be performed by all types of users, even beginners. The program's folder takes up about 5 MB of hard disk space. Almost any versions of Windows can be used for running this application.

The interface of Flash Player Pro seems very simple, having all the options in the right place. Besides playing Flash videos, the software can also convert online Flash videos, for example, the one from YouTube, into offline files. Furthermore, SWF files can be converted into regular executable files, for playing them on computers where the Flash plugin is not installed. Flash Player Pro can even capture video shots and can set them as wallpaper images.

Screensavers can be easily created using Flash Player Pro. SWF files can be associated with Flash Player Pro, to be automatically played with this program when they are double clicked.

Pros:
It allows any user to easily play SWF files. Besides that, it can convert SWF into EXE files, for playing them on computers where the Flash plugin is not installed. Furthermore, it features a tool for creating screensavers using Flash video files.

Cons:
The number of options and also their complexity might be considered too simple by advanced users.

Flash Player Pro is the perfect software for playing and converting any SWF file.
